Open the trunk. There will be about 3 nuts holding the entire light assembly in place. Remove these and gently pull the assembly away from the body of the car.
The bulbs sockets twist in one direction and can be removed to replace the bulbs now.

All lights work, except the brake lights. the cyclpos lite works fine checked all fuses and they too are fine.

I assume you have changed the bulbs - not uncommon for them to both be bad.
Check in the trunk behind the liner and see if the wiring harness is damaged in any way.

My dash light doesnt come on anymore, how do i fix

They probably took the bulb out or it is burnt out. I would check the bulb. The dash light is supposed to light every time the car is started. It is called a bulb check.

2003 olds alero center brake light works but sides don't.

Replace bulbs, one of them is probally bad. Worked on a lot of cars, but my daughter 2001 alero showed me. The car had the same problem, bulbs looked good but one wasn't and that's all it took. Try brand new known to be good bulbs. Ed

Tail/brake light bulb replacement 2004 Olds Alero

In the trunk, in the rear corners, you'll see some plastic "caps" with tabs on them, similar to wing nuts. Remove those, and the taillight comes right off the back of the car. That will allow you to replace the bulbs.
