It is not a simple job. You'll need to remove the motor to make things easier. Then you''ll need to remove the head and sump. Once you have done this you'll be able to unbolt the conrods from the crank and push the piston and conrod out through the top of the block

Is there anyway that i can fix bent push rods ?


There is no way to repair push rods. If they are bent they need to be replaced. However, the hundred-dollar question is "Why were they bent?" The only thing that will normally bend a push rod is if the pistons hit the valves and compressed and bent the rods. If the push rods are bent, you should go the extra distance to inspect the valves/pistons for damage as well.

Remove the cylinder head. Then remove oil pan. Unbolts rods one at a time and pull piston out the top. Hone cylinder install new ting on piston and reinstall. (Make sure rod cap goes back on same rod and same direction don't for get to torque the bolts on the rod cap)

Can you turn motor by hand with 2 rods unhooked or does do damage


Well if the connecting rods hit the crank, it could scratch the bearing surface. If the pistons were at the top of the cylinders, and you have an interference engine, the valves could have struck the pistons but they probably would have moved down and not caused any damage.
You would have known if the rods jammed against the crank since that would have stopped the crank from turning.

Connecting rod has hole in it


If you want to fix this you will need a new engine, that is about a $2000.00-$2500.00 job.Shop around for the best price, it will vary allot. I would use a GM replacement engine as the aftermarket rebuilds can be of poor quality. The factory part is very cheap.

It's rare that a piston goes bad. So, you need to determine why it failed.
Most times, the cylinder wall is damaged during a piston failure making it impossible to just replace the piston. Check the wall for score marks and out of round condition as well as actual size VS original bore size. (correcting that requires machine work) The new piston must match the cylinder bore as it is now, NOT what it was when manufactured. (same applies to rings).
The old rod can be re-used if it is not bent and providing that the big end (crank end) is still round. Again, the rod needs to be assembled by a machine shop as the wrist-pin is a press-in part.
Most times, you will find that the amount of actual work necessary to replace one piston exceeds what would be necessary to replace the engine in both time, $ and reliability.
If you want to try a replacement though, see if you can get a piston/rod assembly that is still in good condition from a blown junkyard engine, Plasti-gage the bearing and replace if necessary, clean out the ring grooves or replace the rings. Use a hand held cylinder hone and break the glaze on the cylinder walls. If you are careful and everything goes well, it MIGHT work.
Personally I would never replace pistons in an engine without doing all the necessary machine work though.

If you have a connecting rod problem then you have a serious problem. This is the rod that hooks the piston to the crankshaft. Get it looked at before you send a piston through the side of the engine. I will cost more to replace the entire engine. Most reputable mechanics can replace the rod, bearing, and related parts for a reasonable cost. Good luck, do it soon

You should not need an engine piston on such a new vehicle.
Do you mean a brake piston or something?

If you threw a timing belt, you don't have to replace pistons, just the valves.

If a piston really were bad, you need to take the head off, drop the oil pan, mark and remove the rod cap, and then push the piston and rod out the top.
If the car was not so new, you would also have to **** the ridge off at the top of the cylinder. But probably unnecessary after only 4 years.

Is there a hood support rod for a 1995 toyota camry, or does it just use the 2 support pistons?


The cars with the pistons do not have the support rod feature. If the pistons are weak, they need to be replaced.

How to replace the piston connecting rod on a 1993 chevrolet corsica 3.1L?


If you need to replace a rod, generally you have a bearing problem that requires crankshaft removal/replacement as well. If you have a bad wrist-pin on the small end of the rod or the rod bent from hydro-lock and bearings are good, you need to remove the oil pan and the cylinder head as the piston/rod assembly comes out from the top.
If you have a spun bearing or broken rod, the entire engine needs to be removed, completely torn down and all passages flushed...far easier to replace engine with a good used one.
To do either, you will need a manual to guide you through the process (far too long to write out here) Sorry I need to tell you this but that's just the way it is...better you know before even attempting to do the job.

1996 Saturn SL2 had timing replaced, was on interstate for about 300 miles and threw a rod. If the timing was off could this have caused the rod to break?


If the timing was off, from my experiance, it would cause the valve to go down threw the piston. The rod more than likely was on its last leg before the repair. Because the timing actually keeps the crank shaft (that turns the rods/pistons up and down) and the cam shaft (makes the valves go up and down) in sequence. So if the timing were off then the valves would be down when the piston were up. This could cause the rod to break but usually it either cause the valve to punch a whole threw the piston or the piston to bend the valve. Either case is very bad but so is a broken rod.
