The aircon system on my B Class has been recharged but after about two months the cold air is not blowing.

recharged it but didn't fix the leak
take it to an accredited ac specialist shop for a system check and fix
ac units do not need recharging unless there is a leak

My 2003 VW Convertble AC unit is not blowing air as cold as it used to. The AC unit is working

Most likely yes it does need to be re-charged with refrigerant gas as this gas can leak over a long period of time
Many garages can re-charge the system for you

The AC in my 2003 VW Convertible is not cooling enough. What can I do about it?

A recharge is the first thing to have done. The system will lose some gas over time. The service center should be able to check for leaks as well.

AC unit is not blowing cold air

It may not be air con gas but a failed AC compressor.

If the AC gas does need to be added this is NOT a DIY job. You will need to take the car to an auto AC specialist to have it carried out.

When you recharged the unit you may have not put enough oil in with the freon.

2007 dodge nitro not blowing cold air

The AC compressor may need recharged, or repaired / replaced. A lot of times what happens is through the winter AC units aren't ran so the seals recieve no oil and dry out letting coolant escape. Sometimes you can get lucky and a recharge (which contains oil essential for your seals) will do it - if they are too dry however, you will need a new compressor. You can have your AC unit recharged at nearly any dealership except in the state of California. Hope this helps.

1996 Toyota Avalon. AC was only blowing hot, had it recharged now it works great unless it's really hot out then it only blows hot. Any suggestions?

Most places nowadays that recharge dont deal with older systems so I doubt they did the proper job that you expected them to. They would need to replace the AC unit and the Frion which is a fairly major undertaking.

some parts stores sell recharge cans of 134a. most ppl believe that the ac unit in a car naturally loses charge over time. big myth an ac unit is sealed nothing can get in or out with out there being a leak. before you waist time recharging it yourself find the leak either a loose fitting or a bad O-ring in one of the snap fittings i highly recommend taking it to a ac technician so that it can be properly evacuated to remove any moisture or other contaminants that may be in the system.
