if its a turbo you should see something like this, this is an example only the thing on the right with the silver snail type thing is the turbo, you should have 2 of these if its the turbo I have 2 questions...
1) I - c993b18.jpg

how to change the plugs--First start by removing the negative battery cable from the battery post. Ok next remove the center plastic cover on top of the motor that says "3000 v6". Now in between each gap in the in intake plenum u should notice the tops of what are called coil packs. Each one has two bolts holding it in and a wire loom coming out of each pack. The first pack is directly left of the oil cap(if facing motor). Remove each bolt then the wire connection. After that gently pull until the pack comes out. Take your spark plug socked and remove plug. Be really carefull not to drop debres in the hole. Repeat this step for the first two on the left side and the first one on the right side (again facing motor). A couple of them you will notice has a small metal plate with a #8 screw holding the wire down, remove this to keep from damaging your wires. Now this is where it gets hard U will have to remove the balance tube on the back of the intake plenum. Calm down its not really that bad, just time consuming. Remove all vacum tubes and hoses from the balance tube and then remove the 1 nut and 2 bolts holding each side down. After that carry on and remove the packs as normal, hope this helps you...good luck

I have a 93 nissan 300zx non turbo. The clutch is still slipping when car is hot. I've replaced clutch and pressure plate, slave cylinder and clutch master cylinder. What else could it be??

Are you using authentic nissan parts ? If you are, not that is where your problem might exist .Have you checked the clutch pedal to ensure it is not sticking or binding somewhere ? If the master cylinder piston is sticking you may experience this problem .

How to change flywheel on 1990 300zx non turbo?

pull the transmission. remove the torque converter (automatics) or clutch and pressure plate (standards), the bolts for the flywheel are under that. make sure you replace the flywheel with the proper one especially if it's a standard.

Hi I havw question how many gears have 1991 nissan 300 zx tt automatic and when at chenging gears (rev) I heard around 4000rpm.

300zx auto will have 4 gears. 1-3 are normal running gears 4th is said to be an "overdrive" gear.

shift points should be under 4krpm, with light driving. my 300zx non-turbo usually shifts around 2-3K.

throttle position sensor could need adjustment or replacement. trans fluid should be checked to see if it's in good shape and full.

I need the piston firing order for a VG30E or a VG30ode

My sincere apologies for the extremely delayed response.
I am personally going back to answer your unanswered questions.

I have only been a free contributor to this site for the past 4-months.

I do not know if you still need this information, but I am going ahead and answering it anyway.

1. Non Turbo =VG30E. Turbo = VG30ET. In any case the Engine Cylinder numbers, Firing Order, and Distributor Connections are the same.

For the 3.0L:
Firing Order:
(back of engine)
(front of engine)

2. I am not sure what what "cam adjustments" you were looking for. I am sure you probably have taken care of that or found what you were looking for. However, in most cases the person is really asking about the Timing issue.

Click on the following Link for the Timing Belt/Chain Diagrams.

Again, my sincerest apologies:
