They don't compress. You got to go to the auto parts store and buy this tool that inserts into the notches and turn to compress the caliper.

Some models you can use a large c-clamp press them in. The other type you can just turn them clockwise until they won't go in any further

Replace brake pads

Remove wheels. Remove calpers and extract worn pads. Open bleed screw on calper and using suitable tool ( G clamp ect) push the piston all the way back in. Close of bleeder screw. Check that the disc (rotor) is in good condition and fit pads in reverse to the way you removed them taking care that all antireattlle devices are correctly fitted., REfitting is reverse to dissasembly. Rear pads are more difficult to do because of the hand brake mechanism

On a 1994 toyoto camry le we have changed out front calpers shoes back brakes ,master cylinder and the brake buster .we bleed them ,but we sill do not have brakes. whst else could be wrong

Did you reconnect all the Vacuum lines to the Booster? You might ned to re-bleed the brakes again, it seems like you still have alot of air in your system.

Left front caliper sticks on 93 villager after replacing caliper, rotor and brake hose

If the caliper is sticking it should have a warranty. Either installed incorrectly or it was bad out of the box. Remove and replace.

I am after changing the brake pads on the front of my audi a4 one of the calpers was sticking the check engine light abs and traction control light came on and mileage clock has stopped working i've since...

I don't think the lights on the dash board is anything to do with your sticking brake caliper ,it sounds to me like your instrument cluster is faulty
Hope this helps Nick
