Hi to get the codes to flash up, or bling as you say, you need to locate the DLC= data link connector under the dashboard, get a small piece of wire about 3 inches long strip the ends so they can fit into the contacts, as you look at the DLC the top line last 2 contacts on the right hand side of the block are chk and ign put the wire into these 2 contacts, for about 2 seconds, remove wire and watch the malfunction indicator lamp, this will bling the codes, shot flash's and long flashes, long flashes are for the first digit, short flashes are for second digit...for example, 13 would be 1 long, 3 short, this will give you the error code you need, you wont find the error codes in the manual as these are for the professional mechanics not for the home mechanic, it will blow out smoke if the shaft seals are blown on the turbo, you need to disconnect the turbo and see if the impellers wobble inside, if so you need to either replace turbo with new one or get a refurbished one...hope this helps

I have a 2004 Chevy S10 4x4 Crew Cab and need to know where fuel pump fuse and relay are located. Any info will be greatly appreciated! Thanks !

The fuel pump relay is in the engine compartment fuse/relay box . The relay on the control side is given B+ from the PCM - engine computer . The load side (fuel pump ) gets B+ voltage from the ECM B fuse 20 amp - location ,under hood fuse box.

Engine light flashing someone said reset the cel or disconnect the battery for five minutes

Lets start with what is cel? CEL stands for Check Engine Light.

It is true that you can disconnect battery for 5 minutes to shut light off but you still have a problem, When ever the engine light blinks it is telling you some thing is wrong and is causing cataylic converter damage, the only time the light will bling is when the engine is misfiring and dumping gas into converter.

You will need to have the problem fixed or damage will occur and light will come back on.
Go to an auto parts store, like an auto zone and have them scan the computer for the stored codes, if you can get me the codes i will help you solve the problem, i would bet the code or codes will be po 300 codes, but get the codes.
Also i will need to know what year, make and model car you have with the engine size, good day

How can I eradicate the air pressure from the fuel pump? Everyday i pump to release the pressure before I start the engine and if I neglect the engine goes wild..

Quesrion not very clear. Is it air in the system or pressurised air? You can post further clarification to my mail box for me to respond earlier. I check my mail more frequently than this site.

I have a 1996 Kia Sportage. It cranks over, no fire, fuel pump won't kick on, and hand held scanner won't show any codes and nothing is stored in the computer's memory. The check engine light was on before...

if the pump is not kicking in then it is one of 3 things either the fuel relay is faulty and these do not always show a code, an immobilizer fault again sometimes wont show a code but often will if the system is factory fitted. and finally fuel pump failure. I know that these cars have major issues with fuel tanks they rot very quickly and can cause a multitude of problems in the fuel system such as rust damaging the fuel pump etc.

If you need more info get back to me.

My daytime running lights are blinking on and off. This is not a short as they bling at a regular interval like the signal lights.

Could possibly be tied in with the ecm or it may just be a bad relay. If I were you I would call your local ford dealer service dept. and ask to speak with the service manager most of them will share their knowledge free of charge to give you an idea of what it maybe.

About 2 weeks ago the o/d off started blinging and would not go off auto still shifted and ran o. k. then last night it stopped pulling i cut it off and checked fuild level it was fine. started engines...

Need to do a transmission computer scan,
if you get a code of solenoid a & b, you will need to replace the relay box's, remove transmission pan and it's bolted right up in there, you can see it when you drop the pan.
