Question about 1996 Mercury Sable
No you do not need to remove anything. In the rear they may look hard to get to, but you can come in from the passenger side to get to the plugs. The proper length extension, socket, and ratchet will prove to be successful. The wires if in clips is the hardest thing to get loose if you are replacing them. Use a long flathead screwdriver to remove those wires from the clips.
