Probably have to replace the instrument cluster. But check with the dealer first and have them run a VMI on your car by giving them the VIN of the vehicle. There was a recall on the instrument clusters a few years back. Check and see if yours applies. Since it was a recall there is no charge and recalls never expire. Since its a digital display and not available separately for the cluster either replace the cluster or see if you can send it out to someone who can repair it.

What is an egr valve and does it really effect gas milage? I get terrible gas milage. We have had it hooked up to a computer and it was the egr code. My electronic milage gauge above my rear view mirror...

An egr does nothing good for your car or mileage. However it does quite a bit for the environment. It takes some gases (I can't remember the exact name) from your exhaust and puts it back in the intake so it would be reburned. This doesn't help or really hurt the engine but it makes your exhaust less polluting.

Low freon message on digital dispay

You can't get freon anymore, so you need to convert your A/C to R-134.

Digital dash displays not working or displaying correctly

Sorry but unless you have very good working knowledge of small intergrated circuits then you will not fix it....There are comon issues with them. You can remove it and have a dealer send it out for you for repair but you cant drive the vehicle. If you do the milage will change in the pcm but will not match the odometer so the pcm will lock the vehicle when you put it back in. Your best bet is to have the dealer send it out or buy a new one with the milage programed into it.

My car has the oil light on

First - did you use the correct viscosity - SAE spec ?
Using a thiner oil can affect oil pressures.
Presuming that you did, and oil levels are ok, then I would check if this is a standard service light come one. They are programmed to light after a certain milage since the last change - and this seems likely if you have just done it (before light came on to remind you)

Try resetting it. This works for most models -
Turn ignition on - so you get display/ lights etc.
Set trip meter to show milage.
Turn ignition off.
Press trip meter button - and keep pressing it while turning ignition to on again.
Light should blink and go out.
Take finger off trip meter.
Depending on model - you may get some figures - 1200 , 800 , etc. This alows you to change service interval if you want - but if not - then just turn ignition off again.
Light should stay off.

If this doesn't solve it, I'll look for specific info of how to do it - or start checking other possible causes to check.
