Question about 2000 Mercedes-Benz S-Class
Probably have to replace the instrument cluster. But check with the dealer first and have them run a VMI on your car by giving them the VIN of the vehicle. There was a recall on the instrument clusters a few years back. Check and see if yours applies. Since it was a recall there is no charge and recalls never expire. Since its a digital display and not available separately for the cluster either replace the cluster or see if you can send it out to someone who can repair it.
