I think the solutions will be very helpful, but i will need to wait until the next hot day to apply the suggestions. We are in the cooler seasons of the year in N,H, This is when it starts good. Next summer or drive to a warmer climate to be able to testing?

First thing to do when this happens is to take the gas cap off and then put it back on after three min. This relieves vapor lock and pressure that has built up inside the fuel tank. If it still does not start after you have removed the gas cap then you will need to replace the air filter temperature sensor. Look on the left side of the air filter housing and disconnect the plug that is attached to the spark plug like plastic sensor mounted on the side of the air filter housing. Now start your truck up and replace that sensor as soon as possible

96 Toyota 4Runner sputters when starting when hot only!

how about the fuel filter. I didn't see this on your list and it should be done every 20000km and the air filter. I think its a fuel filter. not the pump. could be the coils but I would start cheap and change fuel filter first. when the pump is cold it pumps with more psi to blow passed the clooged filter after warm it is weaker and has a hard time pushing through the clog

Hot starting problems are usually fuel related. When a hot engine is shut off, the temperature of the engine and everything on it continues to rise for awhile as the engine undergoes a period of "heat soak." This can cause fuel to boil inside the carburetor bowl, fuel lines and fuel filter. When you attempt to restart the engine, "vapor lock" obstructs the flow of fuel and the engine doesn't want to start.

This is much less of a problem on fuel injected engines because the fuel is usually under much higher pressure inside the injectors and fuel line. Even so, a fuel line routed near an exhaust manifold or a fuel rail that's exposed to a lot of heat may still suffer the same kind of problems.

Heat soak problems such as these can sometimes be cured by wrapping insulation around affected fuel lines, and/or installing an insulating spacer or heat shield under the carburetor.
A Seasonal Problem

Hard hard starting tends to be a seasonal problem, but may be worse in the early months of spring when refiners are switching fuel blends. Gasoline refiners produce fuel with a slightly lower volatility rating (called "Reed vapor pressure") during hot summer months because lower volatility fuel is less likely to boil and cause hot starting problems. During the winter, they switch to a higher volatility fuel because it makes cold starting easier. But if you still have "winter" grade fuel in your tank when warm spring weather arrives, you may experience some hot starting problems. The problem will go away, however, as soon as the refiners in your area switch to their summer grade fuel.

When i start the car it drives ok but after warming up a bit the car loses acceleration and starts to boggle?

check for a bad fuel pump relay. it maybe geting hot and shutting down. it may be a bad coolant tempurature sensor also, that sends info to ecm.The engine will think it was still cold, even though it was not, causing all kinds of things to run draggy. thats why it runs ok when its cold. it sends wrong info to computer. thinking its cold, when in reality its warm. have a good day !!

WINDSHIELD FOGGING UP INSIDE WHEN ITS SUMMER TIME. I NOTICE THIS PROBLEM WHEN THE WEATHER IS HOT(SUMMER TIME). MY WINDSHIELD WILL BE COVERED WITH LIKE A SMALL FILM AND IT GLARES WHILE DRIVING ON A SUNNY...

HI,
I think you are experiencing normal condensation,
try putting the heat and AC control to the position that blows a small amount of conditioned air up through the defrosters. This dries the windshield.
Good Luck !!!!!!!!!!!!
