Need location of the themastst on 06 sedona

Follow the upper hose on the radiator to the engine (it's the big black one). Where the hose stops, there will be a hose clamp that holds the hose to the thermostat housing. Remove that housing and the thermostat is right there.

you need to do the fuel filter and oil filter too. i would do the plugs now to get it all sorted but waiting till then shouldnt be a problem

Did you inspect the radiator for blockage inside or outside. If that OK . Buy a kit to check for a blown head gasket (auto part store has this test kit)
