Go buy a small bottle of dishwashing liquid. Drain your water/oil out of the car. Refill with straight water and the bottle of soap. Start the engine and let it warm up to operating temperature so the soapy water has a chance to circulate. Drive around the block if you want to, or just let the engine run warm for a few minutes. Stop the engine and drain the soapy water out. Refill with water only, warm up the engine. Drain again and fill with 50/50 premix. Hope for the best.

Hi everybody i have a Lexus Gs300 2006 after an oil change i an it for 5000mile and i found that engine oil is lost about 1.5liter what is the problem? thank

hi, do you see oil on ground when you park? - could be oil drain plug is not put on properly- also, do you see blue smoke coming from tail pipes?- could be bad piston rings---- look for ooil in engine bay -look down and see if leaking- that's a lot of oil to lose- keep an eye on oil level every time you start the car to avoid severe engine damage!!!- put oil as you need until fixed- happy trails!!

White smoke from exhaust

You probably have oil that spilled over onto the engine block and manifolds which is burning off while you drive. You could get some degreaser and clean the engine. You could also just keep driving it untill it stops smoking as long as it seems to be running OK.

We have no idea what happened or what plug came out

If you drove a couple of miles without any fluid in any system
you may have problems

If you towed it home or to a shop then you may be okey

Too much oil was put into the engine of an opel astra 160i 1999 model...the motor vehicle smokes excessively...was there any damage done???? what can i do abour it???

If you did not drive it very hard you have done no damage. Just drain it down till it's at the proper level. Drive it normal, she may smoke for a bit but the smoking should go away and all will be ok.

Friend put way to much oil in, now my car is smoking like a tugboat going down the street. What should I do after I drain it? Thank you

Not much you can do other than make sure the oil level is correct. It should clean up on it's own if there was no mechanical damage.

Engine smokes on starting then quits smoking on acceleration.

4.3 liter and or any of the V-8's the valve seals , little rubber rings get old and brittle and no longer do the job.
what happens when you shut the engine off the oil from the rocker arms flow down the valve stem and collects then when you go and start the car you get a little shot of motor oil into the combustion chamber, hence a little blue smoke for 20 -30 seconds something most of us live with as its more of a pain to fix than it is to live with.

Smoke from the exhaust when starting

I would think this is valve stem seals that are letting a little bit of oil down on top of the piston and when you go to start the car you get a bit of oil smoke when you start the car
