There is a breaker box in the line next to the battery, it has a bunch of breakers in there and big fuses, check them out. There is a link in the line from the battery called a fusible link, make sure it isn't blown. Check the oil. Check any anti theft devices you may have. Hope this helps.

R REG PUNTO 16V SPORT engine not running battery fine electric windows lights etc work so battery fine turn key and nothing ...

If you hear a clicking you still might not have enough battery power to start it.
If you hear the motor turn over, but not start you might have a fuel, or spark issue.

Battery charge light comes on and doesn't go out. After about 15-20 min, the ABS light comes on and AWD light too. After 10 more min, car completely shuts down as battery is drained. Took it to mechanic...

You are describing a situation that would be solved by a replacement alternator. You say yours is fine ... I think I'd be inclined to have it checked by another mechanic.

The battery light comes on when you are using more power than you are making. Your car died because it had no electricity to run the spark plugs, the electric fuel pump, the computer, the lights, the instruments, the cooling fans, the security system, the automatic locks, the heater/AC - ventilation system, and other electrical powered devices required to make a modern car run.

In the good old days, a battery would run a car for weeks, in the day time (no lights) - with the only power requirement was the starter and the ignition. Today - cars are power hungry.

Yes, your car ran out of power last night and this morning it strarted fine and ran for a while. That was because your battery has SOME capability to recover overnight. Don't push your luck. Have an evaluation done by a professional mechanic.

1995 Chevy G30 - No electricity at all, won't start.

I'm not familiar with your type of vehicle, but:-

Look for a 'fusible wire link' that may be down near the starter motor battry power connection cable. If fused, it will be melted.

Most vehicles hase either a fusible link or a high power fuse in between the battery output and the main vehicle distribution power bus.
