Question about 1998 Oldsmobile Intrigue
Hey so the A/C is giving you trouble in this case the problem is that most likely your A/C fluid needs refilling. (Do not do this yourself) The Flashing light usually indicates that the A/C cannot perform and senses a problem with the a/c compressor or the fluid inside (for example low volume). The other issue could be that you have a leak somewhere or the lines are rusted shut. This can happen, however usually is at the coast.
You can see fairly quickly if they are rusted by looking under your hood and finding the apparatus that looks like a cylinder with 5 pipes coming out. If that part looks heavily rusted then that could be the issue.
But most of the time its either a bad (brittle) line or the fact that your low on the air conditioning fluid.
