Hey so the A/C is giving you trouble in this case the problem is that most likely your A/C fluid needs refilling. (Do not do this yourself) The Flashing light usually indicates that the A/C cannot perform and senses a problem with the a/c compressor or the fluid inside (for example low volume). The other issue could be that you have a leak somewhere or the lines are rusted shut. This can happen, however usually is at the coast.
You can see fairly quickly if they are rusted by looking under your hood and finding the apparatus that looks like a cylinder with 5 pipes coming out. If that part looks heavily rusted then that could be the issue.
But most of the time its either a bad (brittle) line or the fact that your low on the air conditioning fluid.

My 2001 ford focus ac light is blinking but hot air is coming out.

Could mean a stuck button? Try disconnecting your battery (remember your radio code) then work the buttons. All may return when reconnecting? If not have the air-conditioning system checked. :)

2000 Avalon XLS air condition keeps cutting off

Could be low on freon or a relay / switch problem.
Could also be a problem with the ac clutch on the compressor.
You can check the freon charge first, or check the clutch for voltage when the system cuts off.

2004 camry ac light blinking and throws hot air. Suggestions?

My 2003 Toyota Camry AC often starts blowing hot air and the AC light starts blinking. I don't know why the following process works, but it does. Using the temp selector (left) reduce the temperature all the way down to Max Cold and then push the Auto button. It will start blowing out very cold air. After a little while push the temp selector to the desired temperature.

I tried turning on my air conditioner in my 06 gmc envoy denali by hitting the snowflake button it started to blink then it stoped and went off please help me

you need to get your ac serviced and computer checked for an air conditioning system code/malfunction. when the light in the button flashes it means a problem has set a code in your body control module that controls the ac.

I just had my car serviced at a garage and now my air conditioning doesn't work. They changed the oil/filter, transmission fluid/gasket, coolant drain/new coolant, and cabin/air conditioning filter. They...

Maybe the refrigerant charge of r134a is low on pressure. Have that checked. I hope that the air conditioning tubing wasn't disturbed when all of that service was performed.

It really shouldn't have affected the a/c if they stayed away from that system.

A/C light inside of van blinks does this mean it

there may be an error with the compressor. since AC is especially complicated, have someone check the compresser and your hoses first, as you may also have a leak, and adding more 134 would be a waste of money.

A/c light blinks

The only problem with your air conditioning light blinking in the 4runner is a bad relay. Toyota has updated the relay to part #90987-02028. Call your local Toyota dealership for this relay. You can buy it at the parts counter. It is about $65. It takes 1 minute to replace. This is the first thing you should do to troubleshoot the AC blinking light. I had the exact same problem with my 2003 4runner and this relay resolved my issue. This same procedure is for the Camry and other Toyota models with the same blinking AC light, but the relay part number might differ.
