Question about 1992 Jeep Wrangler

1 Answer

My jeep was driving fine and then it didn't want to go over 40 mph and I could smell something burning. I drove into the driveway and it didn't want to go up my sloped driveway and then it didn't want to roll backwards. The front wheels were very hot. It goes into gear fine and the emergency brake is not on.

Rojo,
It seems that the front brake robber hose has developed a leak and the front shoes are jamming the wheels. That is why the Wrangler is not wanting to move and is having very hot front wheels. Please get the front brakes bled.

By removing the battery & the radiator the sensors sent signals to the ECM. You probably have to get the computer scanned & reset with a professional diagnostic tool. Take it to a reputable tech.
