2002 Nissan maxima. V6 3.5 Car was working one day and then not the next. I'm getting a 1610 and 1612 code on the reader. What could be wrong with the car?

OBD ports HAVE TO BE within 3 feet of the steering column.
3 feet means some are just on the other side of the center transmission shifter area. Yours may be in the fuse box in the lower dash.
p0152 is bank 2 sensor 1 oxygen sensor code...make sure it was plugged back in or sensor may need replacement or you may have damaged the harness. p1564 is for the automatic speed control device basically the same possibilities with this circuit.

If the ABS light is on, it's a good idea to find out what codes are stored.
The OBD-II system allows many codes to be read but a specialist with an ABS BrakeScan tool will be needed in order to find the codes for the ABS system for your vehicle.
I bought a Brakescan tool that works on most Ford, Chrysler, and GM vehicles from 1996 through 2005 but, I don't think it will work with the Nissan Maxima.
So, that's why I would direct you to the dealer for this one.
hook an OBD-II scanner up to the OBD-II socket and press 'erase' codes on the scanner. This will turn off the light as long as the problem has been solved.
