The turn signal flasher is located in the convenience center, under the
dash, on the left side kick panel. In all cases, replacement is made by
unplugging the old unit and plugging in a new one.

1985 LeSabre flashers work turn signals don't need location of turn signal switch or are they one of the same

You mean turn signal flasher? No, the hazard flasher and turn flasher on older cars were separate. Often, the hazard flasher was right of the steering column (under the dash), and the turn flasher was left of the column. Look for two similar canisters. Turn the hazard lights on and locate the hazard flasher by feel or hearing. The turn flasher will be the other one. They both may be retained by metal clips.

My left turn signal works but it wont blink which fuse is it? or is it something els?

It sounds like the flasher relay is stuck closed. It is located under the left side of the dash, to the right side of the steering column. Try replacing that and double check if you recently replaced any bulbs that they have the correct base for the sockets. Sometimes the bulb might look right but the base is slightly different. The correct turn signal bulb for your vehicle is a 2057, and an EL12 or FL12 for the flasher relay.

Where is the turn signal flasher located on a 1992 oldsmobile cutlass cirea

SOMETIMES THE FLASHER IS IN THE FUSEBOX , SOMETIMES IT WILL BE UNDER THE DASH NEAR THE STEERING COLUMN. THERE ARE TWO FLASHERS ONE FOR TURN SIGNALS & ONE FOR HAZARD LIGHTS. THE TURN SIGNAL FLASHER MAY BE YELLOW & ONE OF THE WIRES WILL BE PURPLE. YOU CAN TURN ON THE HAZARD SWITCH IF THEY WORK YOU CAN LOCATE THAT FLASHER BY THE CLICKING SOUND & ELIMINATE THAT FLASHER & LOOK FOR THE YELLOW PLASTIC ONE. A SMALL MIRRIO MAY BE HELPFUL UNDER THE DASH.

I have a 94 Sonoma and to locate the turn signal flasher, inside, under dash, on left side is a plastic sound protector, mine had 3 screws holding it up, drop this down and straight in you will see a 1" round thing - this is the flasher.

Flasher location

I believe the hazard/flasher relay is located under/left of the dash . I think if you remove the under panel under the steering column it should be attached to the BCM bracket under the dash on the left side.

Remove the left instrument panel (IP) insulator.
Remove the steering column filler panel.
Slide the hazard and turn signal flasher to the right, releasing the tabs from the Body Control Module (BCM) bracket.
Disconnect the electrical connector from the hazard and turn signal flasher.

Hope this helps.....

Turn signals

U can actually do it yourself, it just plugs in under the dash. I found it listed at Napa auto parts for about $12. U should be able to get it at any parts store. If u want to do it yourself, here is the location of the flasher: u should purchase a new one 1st, so u know what it looks like, It's located behind the instrument panel, on the left side of the steering column bracket. Just unplug, and plug in new one. U may need to remove a trim panel under the steering column where it meets the dash (bottom of steering column and dash). Your car has 2 flashers, hazard and turn signal, just make sure u get the turn signal flasher, as they aren't interchangeable. Parts stores will offer free services such as installation of wiper blades, u can ask if they would install the flasher. A few dollars for your appreciation to the parts person would probably be cheaper than going to a garage! Let me know how u do.
