SOURCE: noise front and rear struts
I had the same problem - you need to replace the strut mounds - there was a recall on the mounds for the same problem.... my noice was very very bad - and once I did that it was all over, talk about a happy person...

try this website to see if they have your car listed www.autozone.com if they do you be able to get diagram and pictures showing you how if they are not able to help you stop by your local Dodge dealer in the parts department and they will be able to get you some diagrams.

As long as you have the ready struts no. They come with the spring and mount already attached. If you don't, you better have a good spring compressor to remove the old strut and replace it with a new one.
