Swap fuse 45 and 46, if that works go to your nearest auto parts store and buy a new fuse. One fuse is for a fan exghuast the other has to do with the low beam.

To clarify, #45 and #46 are relay's not fuses. Clean the contacts on the relays AND the fuse box. Being that these relays are solid state, these don't typically go out, but the contacts do oxidize often with Envoys and Trailblazers, especially for # 46. But I do keep an extra relay juuuust in case.

Check the fuses first and then the relays....Unfortuneatly I don't know where you'll find the relay for the high beam in your vehicle, and I think that will be where the fault could be....Sorry I can't help with the location....regards Johngee

Open up your fuse box, right next to the drivers fender. It's a grey colored relay #46. Exact location will be on the schematic on the bottom of the fuse box lid.

Driver's side high beam not working only passenger side bulbs Ok plus front fogs not working 03 renault clio

Could be a fuse ...or it is possible the bulbs are gone.or the wiring loom has been damaged.first place to check is the fusebox.then swap the working bulb into non working side to rule out any wiring faults.if new bulbs keep blowing then it points to a short in wiring or faulty switch which can cause power surges.get back to me if you have a sunroof and water seepage around the courtesy light as clios get this known problem which could be related.

If both my regular headlight bulb and high beam head light bulb on a 2009 VW Jetta are both burned out and I only replace the regular bulb and not the high beam, should the regular highlight bulb stil

no --there are two separate light power systems for the bulbs but a shared earth wire. Bulbs blow from power fluctuations that occur from loose earth wires, dirty earth points so check the way the bulbs are put back in and ensure that they are tight.

look inside owners manual in glove compartment look up bulb replacement in the back index it will show and tell you how to replace headlight bulbs. be sure to wear clean gloves, because headlight bulbs or halogen type bulbs, if oil from hands or skin touch the halogen bulb it will cause halogen light bulb overheat and blow out.you can go by auto parts store when you buy new headlight bulb the salesperson will go out to vechicle and replace headlight bulb for you wont charge you any thing.just charge you for the headlight bulb.

Both of my headlights went off. is it the bulbs or fuse?

Well, with the choices you have presented I would have to choose bulbs. Fuses do not cause electrical problems, electrical problems cause blown fuses. So, that automatically eliminates the fuse as the possible cause of your problem.

On the other hand, your problem could be caused by anything from blown bulbs to a defective headlamp control switch to a malfunctioning multiplex control unit or a bad DRL module.

Personally, I would turn the light switch on and check for power and ground at the headlamp bulb connector. If there is power and ground, then the bulb is the cause of the problem. If there is no power and ground, then you must properly diagnose your headlamp circuits to locate the fault.

How do have you change an headlight bulb?

LOOK IN YOUR GLOVE COMPARTMENT FOR THE OWNERS MANUAL. LOOK IN THE BACK INDEX OF MANUAL LOOK UP BULB REPLACEMENT. IT WILL SHOW AND TELL YOU HOW TO REPLACE HEAD LIGHT BULBS. YOU NEED TO WEAR CLEAN LATEX GLOVES WHEN CHANGING HALOGEN BULBS BECAUSE OILS FROM FINGERS AND HANDS WILL CAUSE THE HALOGEN HEADLIGHT BULBS TO OVER HEAT AND BLOW OUT. HALOGEN BULBS ARE EXPENSIVE THEY COST FROM $10.00 - $20.00 BE SURE TO WEAR CLEAN GLOVES WHEN HANDLING THEM.

96 camry headlight dont work

Headlights are one of the most important safety features on your car, but they can only do their job if they're properly maintained. It's not just burned out headlights that cause problems; headlights that are dim or incorrectly aligned can also lead to accidents. Fortunately, learning how to repair headlights is something even the least mechanically inclined person can do. When you know how to repair headlights yourself, you can save up to several hundred dollars on mechanic's fees. Here are some tips on how to repair headlights with common problems.

Headlights that don't turn on
If you're headlights aren't working at all, the most likely cause is a burned out bulb. All you need to do to repair the headlights is replace the bulb. If you have plastic lenses, you can take out the old bulb by removing the lens and unscrewing the bulb from the back of the lens. With glass headlights, though, you'll need to replace the whole glass. Since you're buying new bulbs anyway, consider picking up one of the new, brighter types of bulbs, such as the halogen or xenon types.
When you've got your replacement bulb, install it and turn on the lights. If the headlights still don't work, it's a sign of an electrical problem. Because electrical problems are relatively complicated to repair, take your car to a mechanic before you try to do anything else with the headlights.
This will help. Thanks please keep updated. please please do rate the solution positively .thank you for using fixya
