Code 752 means one of the shift solenoids is stuck on.
The solenoids are inside the transmission.

1998 land rover discovery transmission makes loud banging noise when shifting from pari to drive?

Tons of possibilities here (transmission, differential, motor mounts, transmission mounts....), so I'll ask some debug questions to help narrow it down. Does it make the noise when shifting into reverse? Also, does it make the noise only when shifting from park, or also when shifting from neutral (into drive or into reverse)? Did the noise start as an occasional, softer noise and get worse over time, or did it start suddenly? Does the vehicle lurch at the same time as the noise? What happens when you go from Reverse to Drive, or vice versa? Has any work been done recently (brakes, tires, alignment, suspension, transmission)?

Has a noise in front end also wont shift into low, second or overdrive.

SOUND PROBLEM IN TRANSMISSION OIL PUMP OR TRANSMISSION TORQUE CONVERTER.SINCE YOU NEED BOTH OF THEM EITHER ONE MALFUNCTION THERE WILL BE NO LOW DRIVE GEAR OR OVER DRIVE.MAKE SURE TRANSMISSION FLUID LEVEL NOT LOW. IF ALL LOOKS GOOD. YOU CAN CHANGE TRANSMISSION FLUID AND CHANGE FILTER FIRST TO SEE IF HELPS ANY. IF NOT TAKE TRANSMISSION TO SHOP.THEY NEED TO RUN OIL PUMP PRESSURE TEST TO SEE IF OIL PUMP BAD.

There was a roaring noise that sounded like it was coming from the transmission. This went on for a long period of time because I didnt know what was causing it. The roaring would stop when I would press...

unlikely
the problem is in the transmission
if the noise stopped when in 4th gear then that indicates main shaft and counter shaft bearing problems
there is no actual 4th gear but a sliding dog that locks the input shaft to the main output shaft making te drive a complete shaft
that means that there is no side load on the bearings and so the noise stops
when all of the balls get to one side of the race because the cage has failed , then the gears can get out of mesh and lock up on the teeth
At this point a box removal and pull down by an accredited transmission shop would be in order to get a proper diagnosis and quote
I suspect that another box from a wreckers or junk yard will be the cheaper repair option

Transmission slipping making noise

If u keep it below 25 miles an hour you should make it, but this loud noise worries me, this noise means something is coming apart, if it does it may lock the trans up, so keep the speed down.

Can the transmission makes noise if fluid is low

Depending on how long you drove it low and how low it is (was), You can severely damage trans. Oil keeps it cool and lubricated. Parts in there are very sensitive to both. If you think it's got a noisy bearing, try to isolate which side. drive with windows open, have someone help you by listening on passenger side as well. If it's that noisy should not be too hard to find.

2000 audi a4 low erratic humming noise

Could be a transmission issue. Did you hit any objects while driving ? Have you performed a visual inspection under your vehicle ? Have you checked to see if you have any loose vacuum hoses ? Any codes in your engine control module or transmission control module ?
