You can not possibly be that uneducated

They have been in the exhaust pipe before or in the converter for 25 years,come on

Now your going to change it, based on an O2 Code,and then tell us, that you have the same problems,because codes,aren't there to tell you what to change

I have a 1997 nissan quest xe and it runs pretty good in the morning when the motor is cold, but as soon as it warms up it starts to spit and sputter and sounds like it is fixing to die. We have changed...

When your engine is cold it runs in open loop, and bypasses the oxygen sensor. When warm it goes into closed loop, with the oxygen sensor controlling the fuel mixture. Replace the sensor.

The engine light is still on ,i change the knock sensor and the oxygen sensor twice but the light still on

I can only assume that you previously had the trouble codes read and you needed to change the knock and oxygen sensors. Have the codes read again to see what problems the ecu is reporting now. Might be something different that needs fixing.

What is considered bank 2 on the nissa frontier?

it depends if it is a 4 or 6 cylender, if its a 4 cylender bank 2 would be the oxygen sensor closest to the converter. if its a v6 bank 2 is usually the passengers side.. is it bank 2 sensor 1, or?? they code them in a few different ways so its hard to explain... but on a 4 cylender bank 1 is cosest to the engine, and bank 2 is closest to the cadalatic converter..

What is nissan quest code p0138/p0139

P0138 - Oxygen Sensor Circuit High Voltage (Bank1, Sensor2)

P0139 - Oxygen Sensor Circuit Slow Response (Bank1, Sensor2)

The Heated Oxygen Sensor (1 or 2) located rear of catalytic converter produces an output signal relative to oxygen storage capacity of catalytic converter. Ho2S 2 signal is less active than signal produced by front oxygen sensor. This code sets when HO2 Sensor voltage is greater than 999 mV for more than 2 minutes (time depends on model. Could be as high as 4 minutes)

Symptoms: There may be no noticeable symptoms except for MIL illumination. Possible high fuel pressure can over rich the system.

Causes: A code P0138 may mean that one or more of the following has happened:
* Faulty O2 sensor
* Short to battery voltage in O2 sensor signal circuit
* High fuel pressure (not as likely)

Here are some potential solutions:
* Replace O2 sensor
* Repair short to battery voltage in o2 sensor signal circuit

Hope helps (remember to rate this answer).

Sliding door won't close. 2004 nissa quest

Mine was doing the same thing. I took it in and watched them fix it and first they steam cleaned the area under the floor where the rollers are. Then they took a spray and lubricated the rollers and the track where the rollers are. then they cleaned the brass connectors on the side of the door where the safety pins touch. I could have saved ALOT of money doing this myself. I hope this helps!
