You need to go to your local ford dealer and have it unlocked. Of course they do charge a fee.

My navigation system in 2004 mdx has the code screen on but it won't let me put the correct code in. When I touch the 3 the 9 goes up. Screen won't change. What could this be ?

Your digitizer could be shorting out which is why where you touch verses what actually gets picked up is the main issue. There are other issues that can cause it but if your NAV system is embedded into the dash then your best bet is to have it serviced.

Acess code for acura 3.2 lt

If you are referring to the four digit access code for the Navigation system, the code is located on a label on the exterior left side of the glove box. Enter the access code using the touch screen when prompted by the system.

2004 Honda Accord touch screen will not accept code numbers

DOES SYSTEM INTAKE CODE YOU TYPE AND RETURN WITH ERROR MESSAGE OR JUST PLAIN HAS LOCKED SCREEN? SYSTEM IS DESIGNED SO THAT IF INCORRECT CODE IS INPUT MORE THAN THREE TIMES SYTEM LOCKS ITSELF.WHICH REQUIRES THAN THE NAVI UNIT BE UNPLUGGED FROM BATTERY POWER FOR ABOUT 5-10 MINS TO RESET ITSELF.NOW INCORRECT CODE CAN BE DUE TO WRONG CODE/SERIAL # CARD FOR VEHICLE, UNIT HAS BEEN REPLACED IN PAST POSSIBLY AND YOU ARE INPUTING CODE FROM OLD UNIT UNKNOWINGLY. YOU ALSO WANT TO MAKE SURE CODE YOU ARE TRYING TO INPUT IS FOR NAVI-SYSTEM AND NOT THE RADIO CODE FOR THE STEREO. IF ALL ABOVE CHECKS OK THEN NEXT STEP WOULD BE TO REMOVE UNIT TO RETRIEVE SERIAL NUMBER FROM BACK OF NAVI UNIT THEN GO TO NEAREST DEALARSHIP WHO CAN THAN RUN S/N THROUGH HONDA IN SYSTEM AND RETRIEVE CORRECT CODE FOR THAN SERIAL NUMBER. LET ME KNOW HOW IT GO'S

Radio code

  1. CODE ENTRY: The proper five digit code for the radio is listed on the two cards supplied in the radio security envelope. After installation or when the radio requires reprogramming the word "code" will appear on the display screen. Enter the code by using the preset buttons numbered 1 through 5 . If a "beep" sound occurs when the code is initially entered, it is then necessary to re-enter the code starting with the first digit. The "beep" sound was provided to indicate the starting point for code entry. If the code has not been properly entered after three successive attempts , the radio will then not accept any entry until the radio has been left "ON" for one hour (vehicle ignition must be "ON"). After one hour in the "ON" position, the radio will then accept three additional entry attempts. Also, if a push-button is touched accidentally when the ignition is "OFF", a warning tone will sound. Turn the ignition to the "ON" position and the warning tone will stop.
  2. Radio security codes will not be given to anyone under any circumstance other than authorized jaguar dealer personnel after proof of vehicle ownership and proper identification has been established. A separate security envelope with the attached instruction is provided in each radio package. If the radio has been port installed, the security package will be placed in the vehicle glove box. NOTE: When the car arrives at the dealership, the radio will be in the inoperative mode even though it has already been installed. It is imperative that no attempts be made to install a tape cassette while the radio is in this mode. The cassette will not eject and damage may occur when removal is attempted.

Navigation system

Unplugging or rebooting won't solve the problem. Call Alpine Electronics. They are the manufacturer of the Navi System. They will replace it for about $160. Check their website online for their phone number.
