Fuel filter should be on the driver side inside frame rail, slightly behind the drivers door.

IS THERE A IN-TANK FUEL FILTER FOR 1992 BUICK LASABER V6

There is a filter on the lower end of the fuel pump so it don't get particles in the pump from the bottom of the tank. That is if any is in the tank. Normally you will have a fuel filter in the line between the fuel pump and the throttle body or carb. In addition, if a carb is on the car there is a fuel filter where fuel line connects to the carb. You would need to disconnect the fuel line and then take the large nut loose on the carb and the filter is there.

1979 el camino fuel filter

if you have a quadrajet carb it will be right at the fuel inlet, front of the carb. you may have an inline filter instead or also, this would be in the line between the fuel pump (front left side of engine block as you look at the engine) and the carb

i usually remove the one that is in the carb and put in an inline filter myself, it makes replacement so much easier.. the carb housings like to strip out

No fuel gettin to the carb

If you have a carb your fuel filter is clogged or the fuel pump is bad. Fuel pump is on front of block and follow the gas line to it the filter is in line near the carb or behind the big nut on the front of the carb use two wrenches. These brass filters plugged all the time

I have a 1970 catalina and i dont know where the vacum lines go off the carberator i have a 4bbl quodrojet. i also dont know where my fuel filter is.

the fuel filter should be where the fuel line enters the carb. Remove the fuel line from carb, then remove the part on the carb that the fuel line attaches to. remove the filter. There will be a spring behind the filter.

Fuel filter on a 4 barell carb which end goes in carb

OOOOh the FUEL filter. The black opening goes towards the fuel inlet, where the line comes in. This way the fuel can enter through the hole and escape through the filter. there's probably a small spring that goes into the carb first. then filter with the black hole pointing out, then fuel line.

well if its a 1999, it wont have a carb, it has fuel injection.take your fuel filter off and clean it or put a new on one, that should fix the problem. check your hoses too.

My car feels like its starving for fuel at acceleration. Can you help?

It could be a few things in the fuel systen. The fuel filter is a likely culprit. If it hasn't been changed in a while, change it our more problems will arise. If that's not it the injectors could be clogged, try an injector cleaner before getting it worked on. It could also be a few other things including fuel pump, TPS (throttle position sensor), EGR (if your car has one). or even plugs and wires, Try the filter and cleaner first, if that doesn't help get a diagnostic.
