There is a relay on the left side(driver) fender wall unde the battery.remover the
air filter housing and You'll be able to get to it.Just follow the wire harness from the fans.also check the switch that is connected to the temp.switch by the thermostat housing.it's just below that.I'm having similar problem.I replaced fan relay, thermostat and temp.switch.Still no fans. But they do work as i by passed them with a fusable link & a toggle switch. But was told to check fan temp.switch
which may be the one I mentioned, just below the thermostat housing.Good Luck.

Remove the front number. Ou will see it riveted to the bumper frame of the drivers side. If you remove the screws that holt the top of the bumper to the upper radiator cover and gently pull back on the grill part of the bumper you will see it.

Could be different problems.
The cluster issue could be a problem in the printed circuit board inside the cluster.
The cooling fan problem could be low coolant, a blown fuse, a faulty temp sensor, fan motor, or relay.

Fan is not shutting off when van is turned off; not overheating; suggested looking at thermo coupler; need diagram for location

The fan is control by a solid state fan relay. The relay is located on the drivers side either by the radiator where the lower trans cooler line attaches or behind the front bumper cover. You can trace the fan wiring to the location.

The relays are known to go bad and either cause the fans to stay on or cause the fans not to work at all.

They are available after market and most good parts stores will have them in stock.

the fan should only come on if a/c high pressure is above 200-250psi. or th eeng is HOT +220f... the relay I think is located at the lower left corner of core support, and common to fail.

Check under hood on drivers side for relay/fuse box. They are labeled on underside of cover. If that turns up o.k. then I'd look at coolant temperature sensor.
