Question about 2001 Jeep Cherokee
In general you don't. If you are just replacing the bulbs, you rotate the 3" collar behind the lens about 10 degrees, and then it and the bulb pull out. If the lens is cracked and needs to be removed, I ended up taking off the whole bumper cover and both sides light clusters all at the same time. The individual hold down screws could not be accessed any other way it seemed to me. There was too much stuff in the way, and had to be accessed from behind.
