Just put a piece of pipe over your socket wrench and problem solved. Don't know why you need to get under, just take off air intake with one nut will make access a lot easier.

Ok sounds simple
get under car with a big socket wrench and i mean big wrench the length of arm bigger the wrench less strain on arm to pulley
cause it might seem stuck but if apply opposite preasure to the tensioner with big socket wrench the tensioner will loose its grip
if u use a small socket wrench its like shooting tiny tiny target with a shirman tank
dont worry yours is not frozen its just the size of your wrench that is giving trouble

How do I remove headlight assembly on a 1993 gs300

The Lexus GS300 is a midsized luxury sports sedanicon1.png made by the Lexus arm of Toyota. While the vehicle is designed with a good fit and finish, the components are not indestructible. If the headlight on your Lexus GS300 needs to be replaced, you can purchase replacement parts from a Lexus dealer or from most auto parts stores. Unlike most vehicles, it is not obvious just by looking at it how to remove the headlight, so you will need to know the proper procedure to avoid damaging the headlight assembly

We have a 1993 Lexus gs300 it won't start, ran great when it was turned off has plenty of fuel, turns over fine.

Try check the engine control unit.. It's located at passenger side under the plastic cover food step side wall.. I repair more then 30 units of this GS300 n ARISTO all with the ECU failure if check everything with the engine n sensor.. Also check if there is fuel supply coz some model build with hi-low fuelpump control module.

When I start the car there's a loud sqeeking noise that goes away after 1 minute 2003 es 330

if it was mine, I would buy some "fan belt dressing spray" and spray my fan belts or have them adjusted. first spray them once, if sound stops a few days, have the tension adjusted. if spray does not work the first time, this is not the problem.

You shouldn't need to loosen the tensioner itself. To release pressure on the belt tensioner, rotate the belt (or tensioner pulley if the belt is no longer installed) CLOCKWISE. This will release the tension to either remove the old belt or install a new one. Once installed, the belt tensioner will automatically take up the slack.

I am changing the serpentine belt on my 1994 Lexus Gs300 and cannot find the tensioner bolt to apply tension to put the belt back on. Where is it located?

the tensioner is generally spring loaded. check that you have the belt correctly routed. then you may need to attach a socket/rachet to the center bolt of the tensioner to move it enough to slip the belt on. if it moves freely it likely needs to be replaced as well.

My 1994 Lexus GS300 (220,000 miles) Just stop, while driving.

It really sounds to me like you need a new alternator, but you should have the battery fully charged and checked as well. Before anyone puts an alternator in, make sure they check the belt condition and tension, this is often overlooked and may be the reason you're buying alternators all the time
