You have to remove the tank from the vehicle as the fuel pump goes in from the top of the tank

    It is much easier to remove the bed from truck and pull fuel pump from the top of tank. It will take 1 hour or so to do this. You will not have to drain fuel tank when doing it this way.

The fuel pump is in the fuel tank.Easier to replace when it is at a quarter tank or less.Be very careful around gas and fumes.

before you drop tank again, check fuses & relay.then disconnect fuel line @ filter turn key to on position should hear fuel pump run and get gas stream out of line. if no flow from line new pump faulty be sure & remove negative battery cable first good luck.

Should be on the passenger side kickplate below the glovebox and to the right. You may have to remove the plastic panel to access it or look for a small hole in it and feel around for the button

replace fuel pump /fuel filter/screen/keep enough gas in tank at least 1/2 tank of gas at all times and change gas filter at 10,000 miles

check the connector to the fuel pump for corrosion or loose pins, the fuel pumps of newer cars and trucks are designed to last at least 100,000 miles, when the new pumps quit did u verify they had power to them?

no..but you have a fuel pump/ fuel pump relay/ and fuses....also on firewall passenger side of center is a fuel pump jumper wire to excite the fuel pump and test it...good luck
