Located on the exhaust pipe. follow the exhaust from the engine, down to one pipe that should have a big bump in it. This is your catalytic converter. You should have an O2 sensor before the converter, and one after it. It takes a 7/8 wrench to get it out, and you'll have to unplug it first.

2000 silverado 1500 4.8 bank 1 and bank 2 to lean how can i fix

I have a 2001 Silverado 1500 with the 4.8 that had the same error codes. It turned out to be intake manifold gaskets were bad. With the engine running spray some carb cleaner on the intake where it bolts up to the heads and listen for the engine to speed up. If it does you've got a leak. With mine I couldn't find the leak with the carb cleaner but after I replaced the gaskets the problem was solved. Hope this helps.

Yes they are i would try and change the o2 sencer first.Because it says your system is running to lean or to rich. And that 02 sencer is the problem

I failed emission because of a o 2 sencer were is

Its on your exhaust. There can be 1 - 5. Your van probably only has two. There is an upstream one (Before the catalytic converter) and a downstream one (After the catalytic converter)
