On my Peugeot 306 xltd my dip/dim lights have stopped working how can I fix this


Either the dip/dim switch is faulty or the high beam filaments in the headlamp bulbs are shot. Can you still flash the headlamps? If yes then it shows that the bulbs are OK.

The rear running lights (red) are out, also the front marker lights. all other signal lights work as supposed to as well as the head lights and brake lights (when depressed). I have checked the fuses and...


did they ever work in last year,? or buy car like this?
does you car have the DIM-dip option? DRL.? we dont but in canada they do. so location not said, makes accurate answers hopeless.
are all inside car lamps working? all that dim? via DIMMER?
fuses that look ok can be bad. tiny cracks, smart techs use an OHMmeter to see if the fuse reads infinity (open)
the dash dimmer work>
on the DMM press OHM button. 0 = good, infinity = bad.

Need to find lighting relay in a Discovery 1


The alternator is shot and is pumping out to much juice ... this has blown the bulbs and causes the relay chatter. I'm afraid it is a new alternator and bulbs :(

Both dipped headlights are not working, does'nt seem like a faulty fuse.

Check with a test light at the head light switch for power. If there is power. go to Headlight Relay.

When lights are on bright one bright light goes off switch to dim one dim lights goes off


please explain in queens english ,i think you have a bulb gone on one side on beam and the other bulb has the dip side of the bulb blown ,but without a proper description i cannot be of any more help

86 samuria . The right head light is dim. I repaced the bulb but


The common cause is that the wire for dip beam is badly corrioded and not making a good connection.
Unplug the connector and inspect all the wires and terminals at the headlight.
Clean and replace the terminals if needed.
