They are available at most auto parts stores. I just looked it up on O'Reilly Auto Parts site as well as Autozone and Napa. ALL of them carry them in store. Price is between 9.00 and 21.99 depending on the store, which manufacturer makes it, and the type of light. (Normal replacements are about $10, "blue" high intensity ones are about $20)

How do i change headlamp bulbs

Changing the headlight bulb is a little bitdifficult for those not familiar with the vehicle. Both the high and low beamsare encased in a sealed unit, which also contains the turn signal, parkinglights, and side reflector. To change a single headlight, the entire headlightcompartment must be removed from the car. Once you understand how to remove thesealed headlight unit from the car, replacing the bulb is relatively simple.Follow the steps below on how to change the headlamp bulb in this car. Removal 1. Open the hood of the Jeep and locate thelong, headlamp jackscrew. The screw is located almost directly above theheadlight unit and can be removed using a 7-mm socket wrench. This will allowyou to remove the bezel from the grill opening panel. Remove the three screwsattached to the retaining ring to the headlight console. The screws are locatedon the bottom front and side of the unit. In some models the screws have beenreplaced with ball-stud alignment posts, enabling you to remove the headlightunit by simply wiggling it loose. 3. Disconnect the headlamp bulb wireharness connector located at the front of the headlight unit. This is locateddirectly above and between the parking and turning bulbs. 4. Separate the sealed headlight unit fromthe vehicle; disconnect and replace the old bulb. The high beam is locatedtoward the center of the car. The low beam is the bulb on the outermost edge ofthe unit. This is how to Install 1. Reconnect the headlamp bulb's wireharness-connector. Then Replace the headlight unit in the headlight canister. Positionthe retaining ring back in its original position and install the three screwsagain. If you wiggled the unit out, ensure that it is replaced firmly. 2. Install the headlamp bezel by replacingthe 7-mm jackscrew on the inside of the hood. Make sure all connections aretight before starting the car and inspecting the replacement.

How do I adjust the low beam height on a 2007 jeep grand cherokee/

1. Turn the headlamps ON and select the LOW beams for vehicles in all markets except Japan. Vehicles for the Japanese market should have the headlamp HIGH beams selected.
2. Insert a screwdriver through the outboard clearance hole (1) in the front lamp unit cover (2) to rotate the headlamp vertical adjustment screw on each front lamp (3) to adjust the beam height as required.
3. For export markets only, insert a screwdriver through the inboard clearance hole in the front lamp unit cover to rotate the headlamp horizontal adjustment screw on each front lamp to adjust the beam right or left as required.

put flat pan under the housing remove the bolts holding the cover usually 10 or 12 (1/2 or #12 metric) bolts? allow the rear end grease to drain... then scape off the old gasket clean with brake cleaner spray install either new gasket or form one with oil resistant silicone put the cover back on , dont refill the fliud for at least 12 hours if using silicone. Also check the front driveshaft rear end yoke seal....they sometimes leak making the illusion of a rear end pan cover leak...if that is leaking you remove the shaft carefully...remove the large yoke retaining nut, replace the press in seal...be sure retaining yoke nut is properly torqued when reinstalling .

  1. Disconnect the negative (−) battery cable.
  2. Open the hood and disconnect the headlight bulb electrical connector.
  3. There are two possible designs. For the first design, turn the bulb to remove it from the housing, for the second unscrew the retaining cap and remove the bulb.

01 jeep grand cherokee right rear axle, new bearing and seal, still leaking. no wear on axle shaft. no wear or rust any where. 100k mi.

Do it again and be really careful to get the seal in dead square. Put a thin layer of silicone glue around the outside of the seal housing, on some difficult ones that leak, you can put silicone inside the cavity where the tension spring is to give a bit more pressure on the axle (let that dry before using) and, make sure you wipe a bit of grease on the axle where the seal rides so it cant run dry before lube reaches it. One or more of these items have got to work...I've used them all and they all have worked.

Pulled off front head lights to clean moisture out?

Those headlamp assemblies cannot be taken apart or cleaned out inside. You can use a hair dryer and dry them out that way (remove bulbs first) The seals arround the assembly are leaking allowing water/moisture to get inside. The proper fix is to replace the assemblies (very expensive). I suppose you want to try to fix them yourself. You might be able to if you can find 'where' the seal(s) are weak/leaking (or if the assembly is cracked somewhere). Once you do, you could use silicon sealant or RTV and see if that works.
