im just wondering how your going to press the bearing off and back on while the front drive shaft is on the vehicle and over all if you do one side you will have to do the other that means you now have to take it completley apart and pull out the drive shaft and then have it balanced professionally so you dont have the wobble or the crazy steerings with bearings being improperly seated im just wondering

now the other thing is are you replacing the drive shaft bearing or just the break rotor bearing with the codder pin attached

Your gonna want a haynes or chilton manual the front wheel bearings are pretty simple to do provided you have a small press as the wheelbearings are pressed in all you have to do is remove the tire, brake assembly then there will be the lower ball joint remove that and then remove the fastener that connects the bearing housing to the strut then press out the old one and press in the new one ..hope this helps...

How do I replace front wheel bearings on 2008

Hi, replacing the front wheel bearings on any vehicle is difficult if you don,t have the right tools, as the driveshaft and wheel hub (where the bearing is seated) needs to be removed. The hub housing the bearing may have to be heated (depending on corrosion) when the bearing is being pressed out, by using a heavy duty vice , and the new bearing is pressed in using the vice and the old bearing as a guide. I would strongly suggest you refer this repair to someone who has done this before, I personally would not undertake to change front bearings ever again, the first time for me was an experience I wouldn't want to undertake again. All the best.

Right Front Wheel Bearing

sometimes knucke bearings have different sizes, like one side has 4.5, then the other side is 4.6. just make sure that the components are alligned well and if in case a rubber hammer is available, do use it, just apply more grease on the bearing hub, then try to use the rubber hammer to punch the bearing back. please refer to the picture below for the assembly4bb4e51.jpg

Can I replace wheel bearings on my 2 wheel drive 2001 BLAZER

In addition to the great answer above, it is extreamly improtant to torque the front hub nut to the proper torque. If you under or over torque the nut which puts pressure on the bearing, you will be changing it again in a very short time. Refer to a shop manual, or go to the local auto parts store and look at a chiltons manual for reference torque value.
