Question about 1998 BMW M3
Never done this before but I am trying to replace my serpentine belt can you help?
Yes you will need to look for the pully that acts as a tensioner it should be identified on your rad support or underside of your hood where you will have a diagram that shows your routing of the s belt it will show you witch pulley the belt goes around and so on it should also identify the tensioner you need to use a big prybar or thwere may be a spot on thhe tensioner to fit a half inch rachet or a johnson bar relieve the tension and remove the old belt and pay close attention as to how the belt comes off and make sure you put it back the same way. hope this helps..
