I have a 2007 Chevrolet Avalanche LTZ and my drivers side window doesn't want to go up or down. All of the other windows operate good. It's just the drivers side that doesn't want to funct

I have an 07 avalanche that did that to to the rear window. It was the switch. Take drivers side switch plate off and use one of the good switches on the drivers door. If it works roll it all the way to top and get urself a new switch. iIf it does not work then its the window motor. Good luck.............

1996 nissan pathfinder driver side window won't go up and down

does it click or grind when pushing window button if so the window lift track may need replaced, if there are no sounds then disconnect the wires from the lift motor and with the ignition on so power is sent to switch, push button and check wires to 12 volts dc. If no power I would replace the driver side switch after checking the wires for defects. If there is power then I would re-install wires to motor after turning off key and try button again with power on. replace motor if it doesn't work.

Power windows: passenger window does not go up or down, checked the fuses under the steering wheel column on the driver side and the passenger side. switched the fuses from the side that doesn't work...

Switching Fuses proved nothing

Don't have a volt meter ?

Did you check out any of the window switches ?

If not the switch, then door panel comes off & you
test the motor

My passenger window on my 2004 chevy malibu will not go up. both switches from the driver's side and the passenger's side "up" switch does not work

i believe that there is also a window switch on the drivers side that has a x marked on it, if so, push in this button, it could be in the position to prevent your passenger window from going up or down. this i believe is a safety factor, from the corporation. if after checking the button that i mentioned, and if the window still doesn't work, then check your fuses and relays, under the hood, in a black box, located on the drivers side.

I have a 2004 Cadillac CTS and after changing my battery the driver side windows won't go down. the whole electrical on the driver doors isn't working. what do i need to do?

First check your fuses (Manual should have that location for the window fuses). Also do the other windows go down on the other side with the switch on the drivers door? And what else doesn't work ( Mirrors, Locks )?
