Check your air filter, it may be dirty. if it is clean check fuel filter and plugs. sounds like it is trying to get air , but it cant. needs air. so if little air then you have a power loss. also check for a vacuum hose that is bad.

My 93 jeep grand cherokee laredo 5.2 has a loud whistling when accelerating. It has killed my fuel economy and i have no power when down shifting. I have already checked all fluids

Possibly the catalytic converter is plugged/broken up. I have seen this several times. It will idle fine, then when accelerating, it will whistle loudly and will not accelerate very well. Exhaust is your problem.

Whistling sound coming from right rear

Checking Window Seals - The window seals (weather stripping) in your car are used to seal the water and wind for entering the passenger compartment. When these seals fail from damage or are eroded by the weather they can allow wind noise to enter the passenger compartment. This failure can cause a whistling noise as the car is driven. Some noises are only present when the vehicle is driven at certain speeds such as 55 MPH. These whistling noises can be difficult to find since you are driving at the time. Have a passenger help with the diagnosis by running their hand along the area the noise is being generated from. Once the noise source has been located replace or repair the failed seal and recheck.

What would cause whistling noise near pully and belt area noise gets louder with acceleration

The engine serpentine belt may be worn or wet. The belt slips, causing a high pitched squealing or whistle noise. The other possiblility is a bearing beginning to go out on one of your belt driven components

When starting ignition, engine begins and a grinding/whistle sound for about 15 sec. it repeats until engine is warmed up.

Noises are far easier for you to track down than I can from here. Use a length of hose, put one end to your ear and use the free end as a probe, till you find the noise source. Could be a control valve malfunction or a bearing in an item driven by the serpentine belt. When testing near the belt be extremely careful that you don't get caught in it...I'm sure you need all of your fingers etc!!!!

I had the same problem with my first car. It was the disc brakes rubbing steel to steel. You need to change your brake pads...right now!
