NOTE: Always install a new hub nut. The original hub nut is one-time use only and should be discarded when removed.
11. Install hub nut on end of halfshaft stub shaft. With aid of a helper applying brakes to keep front hub from turning, tighten hub nut to 160 N·m (118 ft. lbs.).
12. Install tire and wheel assembly. Install and tighten wheel mounting nuts to 135 N·m (100 ft. lbs.).
13. Lower vehicle.
14. Pump brake pedal several times to ensure vehicle has a firm brake pedal before moving vehicle.
15. Check and adjust brake fluid level as necessary.

Procedure for front wheel bearing (hub assembly) replacement


jack up vehicle wheel in question and install jack stand.remove wheel. Unbolt 2 caliper bracket bolts and pry caliper assembly up off brake rotor and hang off to the side with bungee.remove rotor . remove large axle nut. From the back of the hub remove hub bolts most commonly 15mm.Using a slide hammer style wheel puller the hub can be removed. if all you have is a big hammer hit the hub back and forth side to side until it can be removed. Bolt in new hub assembly and torque bolts.Install axle nut and torque. install rotor and caliper. reinstall wheel and torque.

Require front wheel bearing assembly for 1988 Plymouth Grand Voyager - LE 6cyl


very simple to change remove whichever tire is on the bad hub then remove the caliper and rotor then there is the axle nut remove this now on the backside there are 4 18mm bolts remove these four bolts then tap the bearing assembly with a hammer this may take a few smacks then go in reverse order to reassemble torque the axle nut to 110 ft pounds

the bearing has 4 bolts holding it on the inner side facing the axle. remove the wheel and brakes to get access to it

this is a one piece part hub and bearing assy. even if auto parts sales you bearing separated highly recommend to replace whole unit

Loud droning noise when diving


low profile tires can cause this droneing noise , or if the wheels have to much air in them , id put 32 in the tyres and try it , if this doesnt work it could be a wheel bearing
