There is a strong possiblity that the key is either stripped OR the key code has been tampered with.

Entourage wont start until fourth or fifth try. no clicking or cranking. lights on dash all work. happened once yesterday and once today, with plenty of start ups in between

no click? sounds like a faulty starter solenoid or loose connection. clean and retighten battery cables and connections to that solenoid. If that doesn't work, you may need to remove starter and have it tested.

I have a 1998 dodge ram 2500 gas it wont start when temperature get very cold

Coolant temp sensor is your choke on the fuel injectors today. If it goes bad, it doesn't sense that the temp is dropped so therefore doen't send that signal bad to the computer that it needs more fuel. You sometimes will get a service light when this happens, but if not a scanner would pick it up.

Hello i am experinceing some problems with my 2003 toyota corolla first my run light stay on with the key off the key out of the ignition i gather from forums thats the head light switch since it only...

It sounds like you are suffering from a bad case of "Killed The Battery" The ignition switch will not turn your headlamps off if you leave the light switch turned on. This is a problem I see all the time with "Auto" headlamps. Most people turn the headlamp switch to "Auto" and leave it there. This is fine. The headlamps will stay on a minute or two after the ignition is turned off then they will shut off automaticly. What happens is that the headlamp switch gets turned to the "On" position and when you get out of the car you expect them to turn off automaticly but they don't....Dead battery! Then there's the case where the headlamp switch itself lies to the body computer (The guy in charge of turning the lights off) about which position it is in...You have no idea that it is doing this...Dead battery!
The radio is most likely inoperative due to the battery going dead. It is probaby waiting for you to enter the security code to unlock it. If you don't know the security code you will have to take it to the dealer to get them to unlock it for you. (The antitheft system thinks you were trying to steal the radio when the power went off) The clock is going to be off because it has to be reset just like the clocks at your house when the power goes out.

Truck cranks over but wont start changed fuel pump worked for 4 days same problem this problem only happens one in a while security light comes on to mechanic said it had to do with the key being warndown...

Absolutely these security systems today a re frisky i would consider having a new key made at the dealer of coarse that is your option other key shops will not be able due to anti theft .You will need vehicle registration for proof of ownership due to anti theft protection. Tip Be sure this isn't a isolated situation your having i my self had to do what i recommend to you.

2002 Jeep Cherokee...fan wont turn off

There is a fan control behind and below the passanger head light. I had to take the front grill and headlight assy. out and cut out a hole in the plastic behind the headlight to get to it. These sometimes go out and your fan does not come on at all and causes an overheating problem during idle.

Red light on dash car wont start. the key wont work

this would be the antitheft light. put the key in the ingnition turn it to the on position ( not the start position ) and leave it there for about 15 min. then start the car. if this does not work you must take it to the dealer.

See if you can get a Jump. If it dies after you get a Jump, It could be the Battery, Starter, Or Fuel Pump. Let me know what Happens. Please Rate My Response! Thanks!
