In order to so this job properly, you will need a vaccum pump and the means of recovering the freon remaining in the system so not to release it into the atmosphere. The vaccum pump is to remove all impurities such as water/condensation from the system upon recharging. If these tools are not available to you, i would just bring it to a ceritfied technician for the repairs.Hope this helps you with this concern,
