Having owned a trans shop years ago
Transaxles don't fare well
Now their in all vehicles,so I won't buy anything but rear drive vehicle,so I'm pretty much out of luck, except for a couple heavy SUV's. Who wants them.
I won't ride in a van type vehicle, not very good for extended quality of life,if you live,in the event of a crash.

Sell it!!

you need to look at the fuses in the under hood fuse box f you look at the center of the fuse and see if the line is broken in the center if so its bad

2001 Odyssey transmission is slipping. even at 65 mph. Had it flushed but to no avail. Sometimes the gear indicator light will blink in Drive and it stops slipping but has almost no acceleration from...

This is a well known issue for Odysseys from 2000 thru 2003. Honda improved the transmission in 2004. Basically, you need to make a decision. Trade in your vehicle while you can still drive it, or have the transmission rebuilt (or replaced) by a reputable shop; preferably before it leaves you stranded with an expensive tow charge. The transmission will eventually slip so badly that the car will not be drivable. I have a 2002 Odyssey that had exactly the same symptoms and I barely got it to the trans. shop in time.

2000-2004 Odysseys have transmission issues. Do a online Honda forum search and check it out. If you think the problem is transmission related, I would have it fixed while you still are under warranty. Don't wait until the transmission dies and leaves you stranded somewhere needing a tow.

After flushing the transmission we continue to have problems. At 65 mph the car can't shift to the next gear. After awhile it does so, but we can hear it not shifting. I know Honday Odysseys (2006) are...

If it is a trans failure, Honda powertrain start 2006 cover 5 year or 60,000 miles whichever occours first. If your van is still under 60k you might still get it cover for free.
Good luck

My 2001 Honda oddy. jerks when the 1st and 2nd

I would read the codes to find out specifically whats up with the transmission. If its the torque converter solenoid as your describing, then this is not a big repair. But if the convertor clutch is not aligned with its shafts ...thats costly.

2003 odyssey studders @ 50 -55 mph seems to studder more if i press on throttle then fall back to 50-55

1999-2003 Honda Odysseys have trouble with their transmissions. Google "honda odyssey transmission" and look at the wikipedia article that comes up for Honda odysseys. In about the fourth paragraph you will find out about the transmission problems. If your van is acting up, have the transmission checked out sooner vs. later. It won't get better on it's own. Have the diagnostic trouble codes retrieved from the car's computer--any code that starts with 17 as in "1740" or codes that start with zero like "0730" are transmission codes and signs of impending failure. I know because my 2002 with 165,000 miles just failed.

Transmission fluid/filter change in 2000 Honda Odyssey

I would not recommend using Dexron III. Honda Odysseys are prone to transmission problems. A drain and fill with Genuine Honda Fluid is Recommended. The drain plug can be removed with a 3/8 ratchet at the bottom of the trans. The fill hole is at the top of the trans. You remove it with a socket on a long extension. The capacity is close to 3 quarts
