Question about 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee
With the hood open, on the drivers side front, you will see a rectangular black box with a large black variegated hose coming out of it going to the engine (about 4" in diameter) The rectangular box is where the air filter is located, the engine end is connected to the throttle body. The throttle body is bolted to the intake manifold.
All of that assembly can be considered the intake system.
