I Have a 1998 Buick Rivera Blower does not blow i have power to the relay under the rear seat i have pulled the blower motor. by passed and motor fine no power to fuse left side of dash is there a rel

Not sure hat rely you are checking but the blower motor does. To have a relay in the rear fuse block. The fuse you're checking protects the HVAC computer. The HVAC computer uses that circuit to monitor the voltage going to the blower motor.

The most likely problem is the blower motor resistor, aka blower motor module, blower motor speed control. It is typically located near the blower motor. The red wire is power from the battery and should be there all the time. Black is ground. Purple is power to the blower. Grey/black is the speed input from the HVAC module.

Where is the blower motor resistor located on a 1983 buick Riviera with a 307-v8.

Hello jameskoehler; my name is Roger and I will help you. You can locate the resistor by looking at the firewall. Locate the evaporator case halves. The right half should have the resistor located in it.the wire harness going to the resistor should have 4 or 5 wires in it. The resistor will be held in by two 5/16 screws and located on top of the evaporator case. Should you need further help please just ask. Please rate the answer you received. Thank You for using Fix Ya. Roger

The blowing of my 95 buick riveira quit

Check the heater blower fuses first. If you have an owner's manual, it will tell you where they are... Might be a bad switch. Try the easy stuff first before you ripp into the dash panel...Good Luck

Where is the blower motor relay located on a 1997 buick lesabre.

There are 2 relays for the blower. The low blower relay and the high blower relay. They are both located
under the hood in the center of the firewall.
The low will have 4 wires from it, one lt. blue and 3 brown. The high will have 5 wires 1 purple(to blower mtr.) 1 black 1 dk blue 1 red and 1 orange.
Also, the blower resistor is in the same area if needed. Hope this helps.

Location of fan blower relay

On most GMs, the fan relay is inside of the fan housing. It uses the fan to keep it cool, because the resistors generate a lot of heat. These resistors go bad usually one at a time until all you have left is high speed. You have to remove the fan and there it is! It is a big pain to be upside down, but with a light and a mirror, you can see it easily.
