My 2003 chevy venture is "clunking" from the back

I don't think it would be so much the rear end problem. Either they are using are really cheap made wheel bearings or you have a caliper sticking which means the system may have air in the system or some sort of defective caliper. The same problem should not be returning unless the same part is being used such as a caliper. Also, you could have some bad bushings some where in the rear that cause a shift when applying brakes. Sorry I can't give any other help. It's easier to hear and see to help better. Good Luck

I have a 2003 Chevy Venture and we replaced the belt, the tensioner and the powersteering pump and the belt still keeps coming off. What could be the cause?

One or more of the pulleys are out of alignment. It may be caused by a bad bearing in one of the pulleys or loose bolts holding them in place. Check all the adjusting bolts and the bolts holding the belt on things like the crank, fan, alternator, etc.

My 2003 Chevy Venture has 39,000 miles. When should I replace the serpentine belt on the V-6 engine?

The serpentine belt is ok until you see fraying, or missing sections of the linear grooves(the ones running lengthwise.) Cracking across those grooves is ok, as long as none of that groove is missing. If you see cracking on the backside (smooth side) you also want to replace. Glazing of either side, where the rubber is smooth, shiny, and hard also warrants changing.

Ford transit 2.4 turbo diese keeps throwing serpentine belt ? any

Most common problem is the tension-er pulley is bad remove the belt and check to see if any pulleys have play in them see if they wiggle back and forth normally the idler pulley bearing wears out and causes the belt to ride at a slight angle marking it throw off the belt. hope this helps.

There is no time belt on the 3.1/3.4 L engines. Changing the water pump and external drive belts is recommended.

Pontiac Montana overheating

How do you know the thermostat is ok? If in doubt replace it. Water pumps are a even bigger what if. Did he do a radiator flush? Cooling system flush of the engine? Cooling fans come on at what temp and go off when? Replace the engine temperature sensor? 6 years old is bound to have sensors and such go bad.

Tigthen belt on 03 chevy venture

the belt tensioner is responsible for keeping proper tension on the belt... a likely cause for the squeel is a belt slightly too long or a defective belt.

Yellow instrument panel light is on my 2003 l-series

if the light was not on before the timing belt replacement i would venture to say the camshaft timing is wrong.

if the belt broke while you were driving the car than you have internal engine damage.
