Car squeaking on right hand side

i passed my test 2 weeks ago and a female so dnt know much about cars, i have a peugeot 106 roland garos 1.4.
ive noticed in the last few days my cars been squeaking, its like a chirping sound.
it mainly does it when when im doing under 30mph, when i press the break it stops but as soon as i press accelarate i hear it again, sometimes its noisier than ohers.
when i do above 30mph i dnt hear it.
can anyone give some advice, i dnt want to go to a garage as i will prob have to pay for something that doesnt need done, never been to a garage b4 either.
