Question about 2000 Ford Focus

Central locking fuse for ford focus

I have taken the fuse box from inside the glove box and turned it round but cannot see a fuse or a slot where the said 20amp fuse should be as i was going to replace this to see if my central locking would work as it recently sudenly stopped working

The fuse panel is located to the lower left of the steering wheel. Remove the 2 hex screws holding it in place and turn it around. The fuse (63) is somewhat hidden behind a wiring harness. Replace the fuse and try the locks. If they work your are good, if it blows again you have to find the location of the shortage, thats where I'm stuck :(

gain access to the fuse box inside the car ,now lower it down and on the the back of the fuse board is the fuse for the central locking ,its hidden like this for some reason only beknown to the designer at ford.Neither is it marked up the hand book ,well the spanish version anyway

How do i change cigarette lighter fuse on a ford focus 2012


ford focus 2010 - fuse box located underneath glove box passenger side. two black turn screws - turn 1/4 turn to release white fuse box. Cigaretter lighter fuse is fuse number 109 (difficult to see as white text on white box!!!)

Fuse is 20A fuse located first left on second row as indicated in diagram.

if it,s like the escort the fusefor the central locking will be behind the main fuse box with the relays

I have 2001 ford focus se, 130,000 my power locks


yes there is if you drop down the glove box lid and remove the bolts holding the fuse box. unclip the fues box and pull it down. turn the fuse box around and there is a fuse on the back (i thing its a 15amp)
this is the other fuse for the central locking.

the only fuses for your a/c should be.....Battery junction box #F64/30A= blower,...Central junction box#F58/7.5A,F36/7.5A= for the control module.... whats it doing or not doing???

Ford focus central locking


Hi steve,try the central locking fuse,fuse 63.its in a stupid place (thanks ford)its at the back of fuse panel.two bolts release the fuse board,turn it around and there it sits,20 amp fuse.replaced mine and its working great.hope this helps mate

hi i would start by checking if there is a relay, it seems that there is a delay on the pressure pump that is supposed to shoot the door pins up.
