Could be your traction control sensor has gone bad, keep in mind that the Traction Control Mechanism uses the ABS breaks to slow the spinning and give you better traction. Sound like this.

Also, it is possible an ABS cable or sensor was damaged in fitting new pads (recently work?), but it could also just because they have been disturbed and were on their way out anyway. Did the ABS light come on immediately or after a period ot time?

Test it and keep us updated.

I have a 2006 Chevy trail blazer, when I push on the brake petal the brake petal grinds and the vehicle jerks?

sounds like u need a set of brakes , and you may have let it go a little too far as if it grabs that could mean its cut up the rotors and drums , id get it to a repair center asap to prevent any further damage (and cost) to rrepair it

2005 jeep liberty brake lights don't work, none of them but fuses and brake light switch are good.

maybe brake light switch located near your brake petal needs adjusting...its simply a push button that the brake petal hits as the brake petal is depressed usually u can just pull on them toward you and they'll "self-adjust" after pressing on brake petal...push on brake petal with ur hand and make sure this button is depressed while the pedal is down...

BRAKES LOCKUP

one of your sensors is out on your ABS system. What will work until you want to fix it is to pull the fuses for the abs( the one from under the hood) and theres one you can pull from the fuse box on the left side on the dashboard. you will not have abs braking but the petal will not get hard and unless you drive in snow its not a ploblem driving without ABS

IS it safe to drive your jeep liberty with the ABS light and Brake light on. It seems to be running fine, but I am afraid of doing more damage.

I would not be concerned so much with the ABS light, but the brake light needs to be investigated-does the petal feel the same? Is the brake fluid full? If both are alright, you only do not have ABS, which is not as critical, but if you have any issues with a different petal feel or low on brake fluid, it needs to be looked at immediatly.

Bearings bad, grinding when I hit the breaks, petal pulsating

when your bearings start going bad two things happen first the ring gear that the abs reads the wheel speed moves to where it doesnt get a reading so that would probly be the abs light and second the flexing in the rotor will tend to colapse the brake piston leaving extra gap between the piston and the brake pad you might be able to confirm this by doing small short pumps and see if the pedal improves and it stops better i suggest replacing the bearings in pairs if you continue to drive the vehicle you run the chance of ruining the calipers hope this helps

Dash warning light

on the 93 there is a problem with the abs system. there are several things that could be wrong. if i remember correctly the module is behind the passenger side kick panel. you will find a single wire coming off the module. if you ground it then turn on the key it will flash the brake lights in the dash. count the flashes this is the code for the error. it will help in the repair. as for the second truck you have a leak that needs repaired.

Dash warning light

Do you mean the ABS and BRAKE lights? If so, the ABS module is bad which causes both lights to come on. After rebooting, the module gets tested and the ABS light will come on after a few seconds. If it a module problem the BRAKE light will also come on. The brakes will work normally, but will not provide the anti-lock feature.
