Hello and welcome. this almost always a bad seat heater element in the seat. the first thing that will need to be done, is have the seat control module scanned for trouble codes. also will need to check the seat heater elements resistances.

2010 Lincoln MKS Heated Seat on driver's side stopped working (Light in button turns off on its' own)

The most common cause of this problem is that the drivers seat heater grid is open or burned out. That is based on 25 years as a Ford dealer technician.

1. Oil light comes on when car is standing still or not accelerating. The oil level is full. 2. Passenger side heated seat is not working. You can turn it on and it goes off in a couple of seconds.

The oil light problem is a faulty sensor or faulty oil pump itself. The Heated seat is a weak thermal switch or a short. You will have to test the circuits for the seat heater.

Hello, I have a 2006 2500HD 6.6 vin 2. The drivers side seat heater has been coming on and going off by itself. Ideas?

I have had the same problem with my Silverado truck, driver's side seat heater. Previous 3 chev dealer repair efforts focused on the Drivers Door Module, replacing, then reprogramming it, and also replacing the seat heater switch (in door). However, I found a Tech Service Bulletin on alldatadiy which says you need to reprogram the Driver Seat Module (not Door Module), and I am taking it back to dealer tomorrow. Will report on results.

Driver seat heater only stays on for 15 seconds. If I only turn passenger seat heater on, passenger side works fine, when i add drivers side, both shut off. 2005 1500yukon XL Also heater blower just stoped...

No biggy. The seat heater can be repaired by the dealership.Should not cost much because there are no parts just a reprogram of the drivers seat module. The blower motor is the blower motor resistor module. It is on the passengers side under the dash next to the blower motor. You should be able to do this yourself if you have a little mechanical experience.Hope this helps.Good luck.

My driver side seat heater button only stays on for a few seconds and then goes off. What could it be?

You need to get your seat heater module reprogrammed. This can be done at the dealership. The bulletin number is 05-08-50-008.This is a bulletin not a recall.GOOD LUCK.

Silveraldo seat heater comes on

Look under the seat. If you have power seats the wire for that will run right to the seat switch. The seat heat wire will run from the on/off switch to the heater element in the seat. It sounds like you need a new heater switch.
I hope this helps.
