Question about 1997 Buick LeSabre
Looking at a possible relay that is having bad contact with the harness, or a bad relay by itself.
I had this problem with my 1997 Cadillac Deville (Limo) where just touching the harness at the relay seemed to make it work or not work. So, had to change the fan motors which were not working at the 2 speeds required, the harness connections, and the relays of which there were 3.
That was on my Cadillac. I don't think it would get more complicated on the Buick LeSabre.
The LeSabre probably has less relays than the Cadillac.
An electric shop may be able to help you trace the wiring to the relay and replace for a nominal cost.
CTS (Coolant Temperature Sensor) sometimes go bad but in my experience not very often.
