I would like to know where the flasher is placed in a 1997 sunfire under the dash cause i can't seem to find it

Take the steering shroud off and i think its on the end of the flasher stalk lever where the unit is held to the steering column

How do I change the signal light flasher on a 1997 pontiac sunfire


Should be located on the fuse block under dash. Simple pull out and push in new one. Buy a new one first in you don't know what it looks like. Note: there are two similar parts; one for 4 way hazard lamps, one for turn signals.

Where is the signal flasher can for a 1997 sonoma gmc?


For 1997 GMC Truck Sonoma 4WD 4.3L SFI OHV 6cyl the Flasher is located:
* Front seating area, driver side, passenger side ofsteering column, under dash, mounted near cigarettelighter. Optional mounting location is under dash,on driver side of steering column
Application: Hazard flasher

* Front seating area, driver side, passenger side ofsteering column, under dash, mounted near cigarettelighter. Optional mounting location is under dash,on driver side of steering column
Application: Turn signal

I hear a relay clicking under the dash in my 1997 sunfire. what could it be?


these cars has a bad reputation of this clicking dued to qa faulty directional switch causing the relay to click at various speeds

Yep, under the dash, mounted to the drivers side of the steering column.

1997 Ford Taurus flasher location/replacement


images from a 97 Ford Taurus, GL body type. Shows location of flasher and a simple removal tecnique I discovered. The alternative was insane contortion.

It is located Front seating area, driver side, under dash, mounted on top of brake pedal.
