Question about Volkswagen Golf
Whenever you disconnect the battery, the radio will need a code fed into it,this is available from your local dealer for a charge in the USA but NOT anywhere else, the first owner may have written a 4 digit code in the service book(fat chance)if you are outside USA specialist dealers can recode your radio(at a cost)but i have found its better to buy a new radio with a aux input for mp3.(matter of choice.)but cos i live in England, labour rates are £85 per hour.cd/ radio costs £45 fitted.please tell all your friends re the radio code, could cost them a lot of inconvenience/money.especially if a "friend"replaces thier radio...........
