The 30 amp circuit breaker for the power windows is located in the fuse block under the instrument panel, and it resembles a large metallic fuse, however the most likely cause will be a dis-connected or damaged wire that is either pink or brown, and it will run from the circuit breaker out under the driver side kick panel, and then out to the door and the master window switch, and it is not un-common to find broken wires inside of the weather boot that runs between the driver side door and the body of the vehicle, or a dis-connected wire connector from the driver side door wiring harness behind the driver side kick panel. Here is a wiring diagram of a typical power window system to help assist you, and let me know if you require any further assistance.

The fuse block is located behind the lower trim panel under the dash on the driver side, (left hand driver of course) and usually there is a cover under the trim panel that will access the fuse block, otherwise the two screws holding the lower trim panel will have to be removed and the trim panel lowered down to access the fuse block.

Also, remove the driver side master window switch and check the main feed wire that is either brown or pink and it should have full battery voltage to the main feed wire at the master window switch when the ignition is in the "On" position, and if there is full battery voltage at the master window switch then the master window switch is most likely faulty. If there is no battery voltage to the master window switch then suspect a damaged or broken wire that will most likely be located in the weather boot between the driver door and the body of the vehicle. Let me know if you require any further assistance.

There might also be a fuse block behind a panel in the glove box, and if there are two finger holes in the back of the glove box on the deep storage pocket, then pull up on the finger holes and the glove box should then lift up and out to expose the fuse block.

2000 Pontiac Grand Am, no power at circuit breaker for power windows

That circuit breaker only has power with the ignition switch in the "ON" position. It does not have power in the ACC, START or OFF positions. The ORANGE wire leading from the ignition switch Pin "C" delivers the power to the Right Instrument Panel Junction Block where the window circuit breaker is located.

Power windows stopped working 2005 chevy impala

If they all just stopped at one time, it sounds like the circuit breaker is bad. That circuit breaker is located in the fuse panel inside the vehicle (below is a picture of its location). Also below is a picture of the fuse layout. The circuit breaker you may need to replace which is its only circuit that it works for (power windows & sunroof only if you have a sunroof) is the one in the diagram marked "RETAINED ACCSRY PWR BRKR". That breaker is supposed to reset itself after an overload but they do get weak after time. I would put money that is the problem. I hope this helps and good luck.

Fuse location for power windows 2003 Buick Century

There really isn't a fuse for just the power windows and if a fuse was blown that did control the power windows pretty much everything that the body control module works would not work so i believe what you would be looking for is the circuit breaker for the power windows. That circuit breaker is located in the instrument panel fuse block . You need to open the passenger door to see the fuse panel cover. Anyhow I don't have a picture but the circuit breaker is on the top row second one over from the left. I hope this helps and good luck.

The power windows on my 1991 Buick Century stopped working. they are all down and we can't get them to work.

Power Windows usually have an Automatic self resetting Circuit Breaker located neat the Fuse Box instead of a Fuse. This breaker has probably failed which has permanently isolated the power to the window circuit.

Sunroof will not work

Power is supplied to the Power windows and sunroof through the power window circuit breaker. That circuit breaker is supplied power through the RAP (retained accessory power) Relay, the RAP relay also supplies power to the radio. The RAP relay is also fuse protected by the RAP fuse in the under hood fuse block. The RAP relay is energized by the BCM body control module.

The RAP relay is responsible for the radio and windows working after the igntion is turned off.

The first place to check would be the RAP fuse in the under hood fuse block and then the RAP relay in the Body fuse block.

A list of the BODY relay block located on the left side of the dash to the right of the interior fuse block is below:

(1) Park Lamp Relay (2) Courtesy Lamp Relay (3) Retained Accessory Power (RAP) Relay (4) Power Seats Circuit Breaker (5) Power Windows Circuit Breaker (6) Inadvertent Power Relay (7) Door Lock Relay (8) Headlamp Ground Relay (9) Driver Door Unlock Relay (10) Door Unlock Relay(1) Park Lamp Relay

Which fuse on the fuse panel is the one for the power windows i lost the manual

I know thta, for a 2002 Ford Explorer, the 30 amp circuit breaker in location #62 of the power distribution box in the engine compartment is the power window circuit breaker. (unfortunately in the 2002 owner's manuals it is labelled accessory delay ) later years are labelled as the power window circuit breaker.

Hope helped with this. Remember rated this help, good luck.

It is not a fuse it is a circuit breaker, all data shows it as located near JB1 which is the Junction Box/Fuse Box located on the drivers side interior of the car. Left Kick Panel.
30AMP Circuit Breaker
There shows to be 2 breakers there, one for the seat belts and the other for PWR Windows, and Door Locks
