1-Pull the whole control out with a flat screwdriver
2-Twist out the bad light
3- replce with a new micro bulb

I would get the owners manual out and find out where the fuse is for the cruise control cause there is a pickup switch for the cruise under the hood by the throttle body when it is engaged you don't have to have your foot on the pedal

You first have to disarm and remove the air bag (unscrews with bolts from behind the steering wheel) and then you will see the screws for the switches. Only the silverado awitches will work.

they are part of the button. you need to change the whole thing, you can buy it at your local dealer. you can remove the button with a small pick and pulling from the back. good luck!
