should be immediate. Did you open the system when you changed the brakes? What were the original symptoms/conditions and what exactly did you do?

bled the valve a lil to depress the cylinder on the brake then removed the pads and replaced tightened valve and pumped fluid into line again after put back together and brake light came on i noticed the container was at low so i added more a lil while ago but it wasnt very low just replaced the front ones

OK, that is not the preferred procedure. In the future, you don't have to open the system. Instead, just take some fluid out of the reservoir to prevent spillage and push the pistons back in. The fluid in the calipers will go back into the reservoir.
So now you may have some air in the lines and should go ahead and bleed the front brakes. Do you need instructions?

After Changing the battery in my 2006 Dodge Magnum all the lights on the dash lights up and it's stuck in park

Forget about the dash lights, the brake light switch is bad, the shifter is powered through the brake light switch, change it and it will be fine.

What is the engine size of a 1999 nissan sentra. Also, what is the issue when the brake light stays on. Thanks.

1600 cc's
if you are talking about the brake light on the drivers dashboard, it is because the brake fluid reservoir on the master brake cylindar is low. You need to add DOT-3 brake fluid to it.
if you are talking about the tail lights, it could be that the brake pedal is not returning to rest. Pull the brake pedal back towards you when you are sitting in the drivers seat. Light still on, suspect the brake pedal switch. It is right there under the dash. Just look up the brake pedal

Stop lights do not work when brakes are applied on a Nizzan Sentra 2006. fuse is good. Both brake lights do not work.

If bulbs are good disconnect the stop light switch mounted on the brake pedal. Jump the connectors and see if the lights come on. If yes, bad switch. If no, check for power and ground at each wire.

Brake light dont work. 2006 chevy truck, 4.8L 2wd

Some of these had two fuses for brake lights. One for the top/center stop lamp and another for the rear left and right brake lights. Usually one said "stop" and the other said "brake" and one was in the underhood panel while the other was in the dash fuse panel. It's not uncommon to blow a brake light fuse [LR and RR] if you tow a trailer but some of these had seperate fuses for the trailer lights also. If you have a test light check both sides of the two fuses for power [ignition key on] while stepping on the brakes. It should at lest narrow your search a bit.

Hey, i checked out the "PLATE" theory, i couldnt find anything in the nissan Database (sorry), if the parking lights work on the car, but not the BRAKE lights, it could be caused by the brake switch, Its located under the brake pedal, its a simple concept... when you hit the brake, the pedal hits a button to trigger the brake lights, its fairly common for these to go out, however, this wouldnt cause the dash lights to not work, you might try looking for a short in your wiring, Best of luck!

WD40 is nonconducting so it can't hurt. Also check the wires at the lights for corrosion.
